Lately I've been studying the Bradley and practicing driving which I've had to devote a considerable amount of time to. I'll have to drive one off the train and back to are motor pool for are company. I feel a bit nervious about driving a 33 ton, million dollar piece of equipment but I have to. I got promoted this month so I'm make more money which is always good. Not much else has been happening just busy busy busy.

No doubt being in a small space can make you feel claustrophobic but who wouldn't want to drive a tank. Ya it may feel a lil safer driving a tank but it's aslo a good target for the enemy. Part of my job aside from driving will be to look for IED's (Imprvised Expolsive Devices) so I don't get us all blowing up on the way to the mission objective (no pressure). Anyways the barracks are about to be almost empty again since the guys back from Iraq get a month of much deservered leave off, it we be alot quiter so I can get more reading done and sleep better without hearing doors slam all night at least once every hour. This weekend I hope to go to Frankfort which will be the largest Germany city I've been to since I've been here, can't wait.

Well I just found out I'm going to be a driver for the Bradley which is basically a tank, not my first choice as a job beening stuck in a small space in a big moving target. I am glad to know where I fit in the squad now though and now that all of us new guys have been assigned we do PT (phsical traning) again at 630 to 730 every week day again now. Things have been going pretty good except one there is one Sgt who dosen't like me and gives me a hard time evertime he sees me. Adjusting to military life has been a bit trying but I guess I know I should have expected it.

It's been 3 days since the rest of my unit got back from Iraq and It's been pretty crazy. None of them have been sober yet or sleep much but it's not like you get alot of sleep in Iraq anyways. It's hard hanging out with them since I haven't been down range yet but I'm not in a big hurry to be deployed which happens around January of 08 so they say now but are unit has to be ready to deploy by this November. Well I'm thinking about going out this weekend to Idar Obenstien but I got 4, 24hr shifts to do this weekend which is going to suck.

So umm nevermind the years diffrents on this post and the fact that I can't not spell. I guess I kinda been putting off updating this thing...... but I don't have to tell you that as you can tell. Anyways I thought maybe I give you guys a clue to what i've been up to. First off I've wanted to go to the Alumni weekends but didn't have a lot of cash to get a plane ticket. The last few years have been interesting to say the least. I went to live with my Dad for a year and then came back to my Moms and did School for a year. Then I went and joined the Army as I always knew I would and thats were I am right now. Germany has been pretty cool so far but I haven't been off the base yet so i can't say i really like it here yet. I got 1 more week of inprocessing into the country before I'll get the ok from my commander to go and see the sites. Well anyways if I'm not training during the time for Alumni weekend the time it comes around you can bet i'll be there and maybe I'll update this thing again if anyone knows it still exsist. *edited for bad sentence structure and the wrong words in some areas
